Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using WalletTrack (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

WalletTrack is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

• Track and categorize daily expenses and income.
• Create and manage budgets.
• Monitor investment portfolios.
• Manage bank account and credit card information.
• Automatically extract expense data from connected email accounts.
• View financial reports, analytics, and spending trends.
• Receive periodic financial summaries via email.

The Service is provided for personal, informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, remain inactive for an extended period, or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems.
• Not use the Service to store or transmit malicious code, malware, or harmful content.
• Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent.
• Not misuse the email integration feature to access emails beyond financial notifications.

5. Financial Data and Disclaimer

5.1 Not Financial Advice

The Service is a tracking and organizational tool. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, tax guidance, or accounting services. You should consult qualified professionals for financial, investment, or tax decisions.

5.2 Data Accuracy

While we strive to accurately process and display your financial data, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data displayed in the Service, including data extracted from email notifications. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your financial records.

5.3 Third-Party Account Information

If you manually enter bank account numbers, credit card details, or other financial account information, you do so at your own discretion and risk. We encrypt this data but make no guarantees against all possible security breaches.

6. Email Integration

If you choose to connect your email account (via Google Gmail), you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service will access your emails to identify and extract financial transaction data (such as purchase confirmations, bank notifications, and payment receipts).
• You have the right to disconnect your email account at any time through your account settings.
• Extracted data is stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• The accuracy of extracted data depends on the format and content of the source emails and may not always be correct.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, features, code, logos, and content, is owned by WalletTrack and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.

7.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

9.1 Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

10. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on data or information displayed in the Service.
• Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WalletTrack and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Mobile Application Terms

12.1 App Store Terms

If you download or access the Service through a mobile application marketplace (such as Google Play Store or Samsung Galaxy Store), you acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and WalletTrack, not with the application marketplace provider. The marketplace provider has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• The marketplace provider is not responsible for any claims related to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims.
• You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of service when using the app (e.g., your wireless data service agreement).

12.2 Mobile-Specific Restrictions

In addition to the general user responsibilities, when using the mobile app you agree to:

• Not distribute, publish, or make the app available to third parties in any unauthorized manner.
• Not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the app.
• Not remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices within the app.

12.3 Updates

We may release updates to the mobile application from time to time. These updates may include bug fixes, new features, or security patches. Some updates may be required for continued use of the Service. By using the app, you consent to receiving automatic updates.

13. Open Source

The Service may include open-source software components, each subject to its own license. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under, or grants you rights that supersede, the license of any applicable open-source component.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us at navindarshan2@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts as specified in the Governing Law section below.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WalletTrack regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
